About GMT Timber
At GMT TIMBER Group, we focus on meeting the needs and challenges of international trade in wood-derived products. We work with a select group of producers, connecting them with international markets through the development and commercialization of their products.
Our business structure is simple and diversified, allowing us to maintain close and personalized contact with our clients in Chile, Colombia, and Costa Rica, as well as efficiently operating in Europe and Asia through our commercial agents. Our products comply with international phytosanitary requirements, inspected at their point of origin by the Chilean Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero (S.A.G.).
Our history
GMT Timber was born in 2013 as a company aimed at responding to the needs and demands of the national and international timber trade. We seek efficient service to our clients in the local and Asian markets, with a wide range of products mainly in radiata pine, such as sawn woods, boards and moldings, among others.
In 2019, GMT Timber Export was born as an associated firm, a company specialized in the import and export of wood products for the markets of Central and South America, where we have been able to consolidate us serving large distributors in the area and project ourselves into new markets such as the North American.
